Media Design

This project involves the creation of a media floor that is strategically designed to be visible exclusively during the night, adding a new dimension to the urban landscape. The concept originated from a deep consideration of the city's visual landscape, particularly focusing on the unique perspectives offered by tall buildings. By carefully aligning the viewpoint with the surrounding landscape and emphasizing the line of sight from elevated vantage points, the media floor aims to redefine the viewers' positional sense and spatial perception.

The media floor employs dynamic movements of lights and fountains to create captivating visual illusions that emerge from the ground. These illusions are meticulously crafted to engage and expand the viewers' visual experience, especially when observed from the vantage point of tall buildings. By harnessing the power of light and water, the media floor transforms the urban landscape, creating a mesmerizing interplay between the ground and the sky.

Through this innovative design approach, the project seeks to challenge and reshape the conventional understanding of urban space. By focusing on the aerial perspective and the visual connections between the ground and the sky, the media floor invites viewers to reimagine their relationship with the city. It encourages them to explore new ways of perceiving and interacting with the urban environment, creating a sense of wonder and enchantment that emerges from the interplay of light, water, and architectural elements.
