[Expo Milano - Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life]

Within the themes of "sharing" and "harmony," this project tells a Korean folktale about food in a space that symbolizes a Korean dish called "bibimbap." The cyclical narrative of the four seasons is employed to showcase the scenery and culture of Korea, highlighting the flourishing harmony between man and nature.

The project emphasizes the close connection between human life and the natural world, underlining the idea that the food that sustains us is ultimately an integral part of our cultural heritage and history. This concept serves as the foundation for the creation of an immersive media show that engages the audience on multiple levels. The theater's design draws inspiration from the traditional Korean bowl used to serve bibimbap, creating a symbolic representation of the dish's harmonious blend through the arrangement of the audience seats. As the audience enters the theater, they become a part of the show, with each season woven into the folktale, creating a rich tapestry of sights, sounds, and emotions that resonate with them.

As the story unfolds, the audience is reminded of the deep interconnectedness between human life and the natural cycles that govern our world, and the importance of the food that has sustained our ancestors for generations. Through this immersive experience, the project aims to foster a greater appreciation for the role that food plays in our lives, not just as sustenance, but as a vital part of our history and identity.
