"Two Faces" is a projected painting animation that portrays the wandering and anxiety of an unfinished soul inherent within one's self. The 15-meter-long sculpture and the 45-meter-long water screen capture the monologue of a young soul discovering their own voice, speaking to the universal experience of self-discovery and the quest to find one's true self.
This work illustrates the journey of a young soul questioning itself in dark situations and seeking answers. At the heart of the narrative, this animation draws out shallow and faint memories about the dreams the speaker had through the process of reflecting on the inner self of the storyteller. In this piece, the artist encourages the audience to collectively experience Luna's monologue, posing the same question to every migrant arriving in an unfamiliar land.
