The Yi Sun-sin History Park commemorates the Battle of Noryang, Admiral Yi Sun-sin's final battle that concluded the seven-year Imjin War. The park's design aims to create an immersive experience that transports visitors back in time, highlighting the historical significance of the battle. At the heart of the park is a large-scale mural made from over 4,000 pieces of ceramics, depicting the progress of the battle and the heroism of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and his troops.

Multimedia installations and interactive exhibits are placed throughout the park to enhance the storytelling of the era. These elements bring the history to life, providing the main information about the battle, its context, and its lasting impact on Korean history. As visitors explore the park, they encounter various installations that showcase different aspects of the battle and its aftermath.
