DREAMER
MR / VR Installation
This digital sculpture and VR experience explores the intersection of human memories and the physical self using Extended Reality. Inspired by Michelangelo's 'Dying Slave, 1513-15' and Odilon Redon's 'Closed Eyes, 1899,' the project prompts contemplation on the contrast between 'eternity' and 'finiteness' in human existence. By posing the question of whether merging our world with our bodies could lead to a utopia or entrapment, the audience engages with the story unfolding within the digital sculpture through a VR device in extended reality.
EMOTIONAL LAND

This project transforms the human body into a transformative landscape, visually reflecting the inner emotional states of the observer. Utilizing AI-generated images, my focus lies in understanding how the landscape can evoke and integrate the viewer's emotions. I employed AI as a support tool to enhance my concept, incorporating small landmarks at each level featuring human figures, natural elements, monsters, and more. These landmarks serve to engage the audience and provide a tangible sense of progression through the immersive experience.

PSYCHE
Arduino, Light Installation, sculpture
'Psyche' leads to an experiment on sculptures that remember human warmth and touch. This piece explores how a non-living object can gain life through the touch of people, and how its life fades when that touch is exhausted. In my work, the act of the audience touching the drawing accumulates in the sculpture, causing it to shine for a period of time. The light is not instantaneous and is amplified by Arduino's delay and timer functions.
GIVE A BREATHE

This // The experiment begins with the question of how the feelings we convey to the object can leave a mark in a particular place. It is about how emotional transitions create synesthetic moments that can be visualized. The fog that fills empty space and then disappears, or the aftermath of water that has been disturbed, has a difference in both the moment and persistence of the visual experience. This not only determines differences in texture, but also how the reverberation is left within the object through the speed at which it spreads and disappears.
The Echo

This immersive installation starts with the 2023 floods in Derna and New York. Simultaneously submerged due to deluges and rapid currents, both cities unfold in distinct ways as the viewer sinks into the depths of the water. The installation presents contrasting landscapes of Derna and New York. One city perpetually rises with powerful propellers, while the other descends deep below the sea into an endless abyss. After thousands of climate refugees lose their land, where should they go? In front of Descending Derna, reminiscent of the medieval cities in the 'Augsburg Book of Miracles,' viewer come across a small boat shaped like a coffin.
SHAPE OF FEELING
Unity / Game Space
This project begins with an exploration of 'landscape remembered by the human body.' Users discover landmarks situated on the terrain of each stage through a rolling ball game. Upon collision with these structures, users are transported to different spaces where the landmarks exist. In this world, through patterns reflecting their internal states, users exclusively experience the artwork within their own world.
RHINOCEROS
Generative art, Theater projection
After a rhinoceros appears in a peaceful village, people begin changing into rhinos one by one as if a plague were spreading. Alluding to the collective spirit and madness of Nazism, which threatened humanity in the twentieth century, this project describes modern people trying to melt into the crowd and the humanism of one man struggling to remain human.
